About our Pearls
Tahitian Pearls
Tahitian pearls are the only pearls that have a full color spectrum. Black-lip pearl oysters have a rainbow-like mantle which exhibits all natural colors. These colors are expressed in Tahitian pearls in a magical way with colors that are unique and exotic.
What are Keshi Pearls?
Keshi Pearls are highly prized and very valuable because of their remarkable luster. Since they are purely precious material, they are sold by weight like a gemstone.
Nacre is that precious, lustrous substance that makes up a pearl. The excess nacre deposits on the lip of the oyster and, over time, becomes a Keshi Pearl. Because they develop in such a natural process, Keshis always have organic shapes.
What are freshwater Pearls?
Freshwater pearls come in a huge range of shapes, sizes and colors. They are versatile gemstones that are cultivated in freshwater, as opposed to sea or saltwater pearls. Freshwater pearls truly are beautiful and often, overlooked in my opinion. Adorn yourselves with these beauties and show off just how amazing they are!
What's the difference between pearls and freshwater pearls?
Freshwater pearls are created inside freshwater mussels, while saltwater pearls come from oysters that live in saltwater environments. Another key difference is the price. Saltwater pearls tend to be more expensive than freshwater pearls because they are more difficult to cultivate.
